Linda Schwieterman

EXPERT TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS, INC.

Linda Schwieterman is the Co-founder and Principal of EXPERT TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS, INC. (ETCI), a leading provider of Information Technology consulting services that delivers robust and highly scalable, customized business solutions.

Schwieterman brings an unusual combination of technical brilliance and management pragmatics to her clients. She is responsible for ETCI’s overall business strategy and direction, ensuring that the Company’s consulting services Application Development, Database Development, Web-enhanced Solutions, Staff Augmentation and Outsourcing continue to match marketplace needs. In this leadership role, she has been instrumental in growing the business from its foundation to 4M in annual revenues.

With more than 15 years of technical and managerial expertise, Schwieterman oversees the client proposal process, customer relationship marketing and technical staff recruitment. In addition, she directs the strong technical teams at ETCI including Oracle DBAs, developers, Web developers and architects.

As the Oracle Database Administrator at LCI/QWEST, Schwieterman provided technical leadership and consulting for the design, development and administration of databases, supporting Billing, Taxing, Fraud, Customer Service and Provisioning. She was heavily involved with initiating and establishing database standards, led Oracle DBA teams and promoted the Company’s corporate standards through weekly database reviews.

On-site, as the Senior Consultant at LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES / AT&T, Schwieterman was solely responsible for the design, development and enhancement of the user interface and screens for the Corporate Billing System (TBILL) using ORACLE and SQL* Forms. In this role, she supervised a team of database developers, providing consulting, guidance and troubleshooting. The resulting multi-user system enabled the Registration, Accounting, Finance and Billing departments the ability to enter, retrieve and analyze critical business data.

Prior to establishing ETCI in 1991, Schwieterman provided Oracle expertise and user support, in a consulting capacity, to companies including CHEMICAL ABSTRACTS and AT&T. As a Systems Analyst at THOMSON ELECTRONICS, formerly RCA CONSUMER ELECTRONICS, she pioneered the design of the first application using Oracle, which allowed for product development tracking. The system shortened the development cycle and completed smoother design-to-product transition.

Schwieterman holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio.
